Surviving the inverted doughnut

Tuesday, February 01, 2005

The Chan'ad has finally made his way back to the shores of Bahrain. The difficulty that I had while trying to leave the island was matched during my attempt to return. My planned return flight was cancelled a few hours before the scheduled departure time. The next flight was delayed by two hours because of which I missed my connection to Bahrain. So, I was stuck in the hideous inverted doughnut that is the Abu Dhabi Airport for a day. Anyhows, I am back and safe and will get back to business very soon (I'm also recovering from some kind of viral infection that I picked up, so give me another day or two).

It's always good to be home, isn't it?

Sorry about your infection, I hope you recover soon enough!

Rest and fluids

Welcome back.. can't believe that a trip of under 1,000 kilometers takes 2 - 3 days! What did you use? A camel? ;)

Welcome back.

Mahmood, you're right... travelling by camel is faster than travelling on some of our regional airlines. Don't get me started :)

Welcome back chan'ad and I hope you recover soon. It's annoying enough to be sick at home let alone during travel!
