Paul Johnson beheaded

Sadly, Paul Johnson has been beheaded by al-Qaeda militants, just like his compatriots Nicholas Berg and Daniel Pearl. My prayers go out to his family and friends. This is just another cowardly act claiming to represent all Muslims, and as I have mentioned before, I refuse to let them do this in my name. There is NO way of justifying such a horrific action, regardless of how many verses from the Quran or Prophetic traditions someone is able to dig up in support of it. One does not need a philosopher or theologian to tell you that killing innocent people is wrong.

Thank you for speaking our against this cold-blooded murder of an innocent. No matter what twisted logic these people use, the world needs to stand strong against this kind of tyranny that tries to hold us all hostage. If we continue to be silent, then we give them the excuse to continue their insanity.

These attacks against Western contractors is clearly the act of insecure "men" who have emasculated themselves somehow and dare blame it on the freedom we have enjoyed here in the U.S. for centuries and on the success of Democracy in Cantorial Asia.
In the name of some unimportant cause, Abu Musab Al Zarqawi (suspected drag queen) rounds up 4 to 5 of his men (some of whom suspected lovers), arms them and with an innocent unarmed civilian tied up and outnumbered, he cuts his head off.
This same self proclaimed "defender of Islam", however, when confronted by armed, fighting men, runs away like a scared little girl running from a pervert.
No real man would behave like this. No real man would murder in the name of some unimportant, selfish cause and mask it with a religion that clearly denounces these despicable acts.
