I'm a few hours late, but I wanted to join everyone else in congratulating our Kuwaiti friends on their parliament's approval of the bill to give women the right to vote (at last!: 1, 2). This is a sign to everyone in the region that perseverence (lots of it!) and reason can pay off in the end (sort of). Read some reactions from the Kuwaiti blogosphere by browsing through the KuwaitBlogs feed aggregator.
