Free Ali, and Hussain, and Mohammed

Tuesday, March 01, 2005

Bahrania has already posted the details about this, but just to make sure that everone visiting here is up to speed: as of this posting there are now a total of three moderators of BahrainOnline.org who are being held in Hoora prison. They are Ali Abdulemam (who also has his own blog), Hussain Yousif, and Mohammed Al Mousawi. Free them all.

Also, this story has been getting some much needed international attention. To name a few:

Curt Hopkins, the Director of the CPB will also be speaking about the situation on BBC Radio 5 tonight. Many thanks to our fellow bloggers around the world, and especially Curt, for getting the story out.

-------

Update: Curt Hopkins, of the CPB will be speaking about Ali's case on BBC Radio Five at about 2:45am GMT (5:45am Bahrain time). Listen to it live online.

Also, Jeff Jarvis of BuzzMachine.com reported the story on MSNBC earlier tonight.

-------

Update: To listen to Curt speaking about Ali's case on BBC Radio 5, click here and then skip to the audio feed to 4:45:00 1:45:00 (plus or minus a few minutes)

Blogger BB says:

I'm trying to listen to the BBC radio program but it says the length is 3:56:02 so where is 4:45:00???

Blogger Chanad says:

Bahrania, Curt's bit is 1 hour and 45 minutes into the program, so that should get you there.

For some reason, when I open the player, the timer starts at 3:00:00,... which is where I got the 4:45 from.

Anyways, let me know if you still can't find it.
